Santa Fe Texas Chief by Bryan Neumann

The Texas Chief is one of the most famous of Texan passenger trains, and most certainly recalls an era of glamour and fashion on the rails. The new streamlined locomotives represented a striking difference from the heavy steel steam locomotives that had pulled passenger trains until about 1947. Bryan painted this now popular view of 313 showing it between Houston and Temple on it's daily run.
