Painting is not an option with Pat Deltz. It's a necessary and vital
part of her being.
Pat has been painting since 1975; she uses oil and watercolor to reflect
an emotional realism she finds in an endless array of subject matter --
landscapes, florals, still life, birds, animals, buildings and the
occasional figure. Her oils and watercolors convey vibrant richness,
serenity and depth.
A frequent award winner, Pat also likes to let her artistic imagination
soar with collage and abstracts in watercolor, acrylic or gouache.
Her contemporary works exhibit such strength and passionate color that one
client expected her to be "a strong-willed, pony-tailed Bohemian, not
someone who looked like a painter of florals."
"Painting is not an option -- it's a wondrous, exciting necessity," Pat says.
