Mary is an award-winning portrait artist who loves to express
her creative abilities through pastels, as well as oils.
She comes from a creative family and has been expressing herself on paper
since she was able to hold a pencil. Her formal training includes art schools
in Minneapolis and Fort Worth. She studied with Kathleen Cook, Daniel Greene
and Stephen Napper.
A member of the Southwest Pastel Association and the Coppini Academy of Fine
Arts, where she held a term as president, Mary currently teaches pastel. She
offers weekly classes at the Army Retirement Center.
