Marianne is a native San Antonian whose parents were German
immigrants. She began laying the foundation for her life as
an artist as a toddler, drawing all her favorite Disney animal
characters. Continuing with drawing and sketching through the
years, she was often asked for impromptu caricature of friends
and coworkers. When she began painting in oils, she was often
commissioned for pet portraits.
Her passion for dogs has inspired most of her art. She portrays
their unique personalities and souls using vivid color, unique
compositions, and touching expressions. Her individual style
makes her work very recognizable.
