After retiring from 26 years of teaching, Caroline now lives at Canyon Lake. The
rustic beauty of the lake and the Texas Hill Country have been a continual
inspiration. Her love of art began at the age of 11 with work in pastels and
oil. She minored in art in college but did not come back to it until 1988 when
she began studying pastel with Kathleen Cook of Kerrville. Since then, Caroline
has explored painting portraits, still lifes, and landscapes in pastel.
Caroline has won several awards in area shows and is a member of the
Canyon Lake Art Guild, the Kerrville Art Club, the New Braunfels
Art League, and the Austin Pastel Society.
